WEEK 2: TRANSLATOR

 

Hi Black Eyez readers!! I'm Carmen and I'll be playing the Translator role this week. 

The five concepts I have chosen are:

TPACK is a framework which can guide teachers to integrate the technology in the teaching/learning process. We can combine them to create TCK (Technological Content Knowledge), TPK (Technological Pedagogical Knowledge), PCK(Pedagogical Content Knowledge) and combining these three elements, we have Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge.

Technology is the main element in the TPACK framework, as it tries to integrate technology in the learning process and help the teachers with the teaching process.

Pedagogy is the theory and practice of learning, and how this process influences, and is influenced by the social, political and psychological development of learners. I have chosen this one because I think it is very important to take into account this concept to understand the  concept of TPACK.

ACAD is a model that combines the Social Design, that is the relation and interaction with the coworkers; Set Design, that are the resources and materials that you use and the Empirical Design , that is making suggestions and proposing tasks.

Information map is a research-based method for writing clear and user focused information, based on the audience's needs and the purpose of the information. We used it for representing the information we learned about TPACK and ACAD.
